Biography

I started my career in banking as a loan officer, but I want to help people on a more personal level. So, I attended the University of Maryland School of Nursing to attain my bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After receiving my nursing degree, I began working as an RN at Washington Hospital Center DC, in different specialty areas, including the Medical Intermediate Care Unit (MICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and unit manager in the Neuro Department. Working with the multidisciplinary team ensured that each patient received quality care.

I enjoy building a therapeutic relationship with my patients, so after many years of working as an RN, I decided to continue my education at the Catholic University of America, DC, to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and ensure that my patients receive the best care possible through evidence-based practice and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
