Biography
Christina grew up in Philadelphia, PA where she received her undergrad in nursing at Widener University. Christina’s dream was to work at Johns Hopkins Hospital, so she moved to MD to work there shortly after graduating college. She worked primarily in telemetry and IMC for 4 years before starting her travel nursing experience. She was able to work at many recognizable hospitals like Stanford, Georgetown, and Penn Medicine where she feels she gained a wide array of experience and education. Christina returned to the east coast to work in the ICU at GWU Hospital. It was the autonomy in the ICU and working so closely with the interdisciplinary teams, where she decided she wanted to become a Nurse Practitioner. Ultimately, Christina’s passion for community outreach, patient education, and preventative care is what lead her to family practice. She graduated Hawaii Pacific University in 2021 and spent the last three years there doing some of her favorite things: hiking, eating, and going to the beach with her children. However, MD seems to always call her back! She is excited to finally build some roots and start this new journey with our RIMG family!
