Personal Interests
When not at RIMG, Dr. Tanenholz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys a variety of sports including golf and tennis, as well as running and indoor cycling. Dr. Tanenholz was an avid golfer before becoming a physician and played four years of Varsity Golf in college.
Biography
Dr. Kelly Tanenholz practices General Internal Medicine. She has special interests in Women’s Health, as well as preventative care and chronic disease management. Dr. Tanenholz enjoys caring for both adult men and women and often couples and families. She loves being an educator and navigator as well as a provider for her patients. Dr. Tanenholz grew up in Baltimore before heading to New England to study at Dartmouth College. There she majored in Biology with a minor concentration in Psychology. Dr. Tanenholz attended medical school at Georgetown University and then remained at Georgetown for her Internal Medicine residency. In 2002, Dr. Tanenholz joined a private practice in Prince George’s County, where she worked for twelve years. She then went on to join RIMG in 2014.
