Personal Interests

Alicia resides in Montgomery County with her husband, stepson, and rescue dog. Alicia loves hiking, yoga, outdoor fitness, and vegetables. When not working, you might find her exploring a National Park.

Biography

Alicia is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to that, she had 14 years of experience as a registered nurse, predominantly for the Inova Health System in Northern Virginia with a focus on Emergency and ICU care. Realizing that the problems that bring patients to the hospital for acute care would often have been preventable with excellent preventative care and treatment in the outpatient setting, she decided that she wanted to be part of the solution. She obtained her Master’s in Public Health in 2015 and then Master’s in Science and Nursing in 2021, both from George Mason University.
