Biography

Noelia Rodriguez was born and raised in Puerto Rico, a proud daughter of a farmer and a teacher. She is also the oldest of six children, a dedicated wife, and a mother of two energetic boys. Her path to medicine was a call to serve her community and promote wellness in a diverse and multicultural patient population.
She completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico Cayey, PR in 2001. She moved to Bethesda, MD where she continued a post baccalaureate program at NIH (2001-2003) and worked at several well-known biotechnology companies in Rockville and Frederick, MD. Her mission to make a direct impact in patient care was reaffirmed when she moved to Roseau, Dominica in 2009 to obtain her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. This extraordinary experience enriched her patient centered care and deepened her communication skills regardless of literacy levels as she continued to serve for the underserved communities. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 2016 and continued to serve her community in Gaithersburg, MD.
